Pigeons are kindhearted, loyal little things. They mate for life, and grieve lost loved ones. They are famously terrible nest builders - they haven't quite adapted to their urban homes since relocating from rocky cliff faces. They have always been good to us humans - but we haven't always been good to them. Like all of us, these loving little birds could use a little more kindness.
